Krasnodar’s Interest in Olympiakos’ Pep Biel Resurfaces

Recent reports originating from Russia have reignited Krasnodar’s interest in Olympiakos’ Pep Biel, renewing discussions around a potential transfer.

Pep Biel has been a subject of interest among various foreign clubs, and Krasnodar, in particular, is spotlighted in recent Russian reports as keen on securing his services.

These reports suggest that Krasnodar remains keen on acquiring the player, particularly given his apparent absence from the core plans of Olympiakos. Their previous attempt to secure his transfer during the latter days of the previous summer transfer window had been turned down by the Greek side.

However, it appears that Krasnodar remains undeterred and is gearing up to make a fresh move for the player in the upcoming January transfer market.

The 27-year-old Spanish midfielder had previously plied his trade in Copenhagen until Olympiakos secured his services in the summer of 2022 for a reported fee of 6,000,000 euros, securing his commitment until 2027.

Biel’s track record at Olympiakos comprises 56 appearances, contributing 12 goals and 8 assists across various competitions since his arrival. This potential move to Krasnodar could mark a new chapter in his football journey, should discussions materialize in the upcoming transfer window.
